K9 Wildlife Protection Units are highly effective at preventing poaching, apprehending poachers and increasing the efficiency of ranger teams. But, they need our help. Dog teams can be expensive to properly maintain. The dogs need to have regular vet exams due to the intense conditions they work under. Rangers need proper training to handle working dogs and the K9s need to be outfitted with their own special field gear.
