LONGSHIP BREWERY ANNOUNCES UPCOMING LAUNCH OF COLLABORATION BEER WITH GLOBAL CONSERVATION FORCE 

San Diego-based independent brewery partners with nonprofit to create a unique, specialty craft kölsch supporting wildlife conservation 

SAN DIEGO, CA – March 10, 2018 – Longship Brewery, a Viking-inspired craft brewery in San Diego, has partnered with Global Conservation Force (GCF) to brew a collaboration beer designed to support Anti-Poaching Units (APUs) around the world. GCF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Global conservation Force is dedicated to saving wildlife from extinction through education, anti-poaching and conservation efforts. The exclusive collaboration beer, Wildlife Guardian, will be launched on March 24 at Longship Brewery’s tasting room in Mira Mesa, California.

Wildlife Guardian is a citrusy kölsch, light in body but rich in flavor, qualities specifically chosen to honor rangers overseas working all day in the heat.  The beer will be on tap at Longship Brewery’s tasting room and will be sold in limited edition 16-oz aluminum can four packs. Wildlife Guardian will be the fifth beer in GCF’s Conservation Series of collaboration beers.
