1400 Conservation Comic Books Sponsored for Children in Rural South African Communities

We are excited to announce that we are partnering with the Mabula Ground-Hornbill Project, a South Africa-based non-profit organization, to further our wildlife education efforts by purchasing 1,400 of their wildlife conservation comic books.

The Mabula Ground Hornbill Project helped create a conservation comic book for young conservationists that aims to connect and inspire rural community kids to become wildlife guardians.

We joined forces in an effort to expand their distribution and to help bring wildlife education to more rural communities. We sponsored 1,400 comic books that will be distributed to critical habitat areas for Southern Ground-Hornbills. This will include 700 comic books going to our partners at Nourish, NPO, adjacent to the Kruger National Park, and The Kariega Foundation, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, which will help reach the communities around several reserves.
