Robert Pike

Conservation Officer

Journalist – Photographer & Videographer

Born and raised in Southern California Robert has always been one for the spot light. While studying at Cal State Fullerton with aspirations of being a late-night talk show host, Robert’s career path naturally shifted to his love of the ocean and focused his attention on reporting marine conservation and the plastic trash pollution plaguing our oceans. Robert graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting Journalism and has reported and participated in multiple beach cleanups as well as ways to preserve and protect our environment. By using photos and videos Robert’s mission is to connect and inspire the people around the world by showing them the importance of preserving this beautiful planet and the animals we share this space with.

While not holding a camera, Robert spends his free time surfing along Southern California or backpacking across the country. Robert’s biggest fan is his grandma who encouraged him to chase his passion of wildlife videography and to be amongst nature. Robert is the first member of his family to graduate college and instead of participating in his commencement ceremony Robert went backpacking in Yosemite to mark the next chapter in his life.
