With great ‘Thanks!’ to the Amakhala Foundation we were able to facilitate bringing horses to the Sidbury Primary School (South Africa) to better help connect the community kids with animals.
Last week Roxane Losey, GCF Director and Mounted Anti Poaching Unit Coordinator, joined the Amakhala Foundation for a community education and awareness day! The kids were thrilled when they were able to meet, pet, and ride some of the visiting horses.
Many local kids do not have an opportunity to interact with horses, or wildlife, on a regular basis. By connecting with the community we are investing in the future for wildlife.
We will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
