This intensive, hands-on training course offers participants a rare opportunity to gain real-world experience in wildlife capture, chemical immobilization, and safe relocation techniques. Designed for wildlife veterinarians, conservation professionals, rangers, researchers, and dedicated enthusiasts, this program provides unmatched field experience with Africa’s iconic wildlife species.

Taught by renowned wildlife veterinarian Dr. William Fowlds, conservationist Mike Veale, and a team of seasoned veterinary nurses and technicians with years of field experience in South Africa, this course delivers expert-level instruction from professionals actively working on the frontlines of conservation.

Participants will master best practices in wildlife management, explore ethical and safety protocols, and learn how to integrate anti-poaching operations into conservation work. In addition to hands-on field sessions, each day includes a guided game drive to observe animal behavior and deepen field knowledge.
