With their speed, natural hunting instincts, and incredible sense of smell, K9s are proving to be helpful partners to anti-poaching units across Africa. They require many years of specialized training, and expense many small anti-poaching units can’t afford. Thanks to the sponsorships and donations of several international partners, Kariega Game Reserve in South Africa just had their first K9 ranger join their unit. Global Conservation Force is proud to have sponsored the K9 handler course training for Kariega ‘s handler. We can’t wait to see this team in action!
