Mounted Anti Poaching Units Update – Patrol, Gear Sponsorship, and Ranger Training

Roxane Losey, GCF Director & Mounted Anti Poaching Unit Coordinator, has been hard-at-work while on GCF deployment in South Africa.

To start, Roxane met up with our conservation partner Grant Fowlds, of Project Rhino KZN,  to work with rangers in the Kwazulu-Natal Province. We sponsored much needed safety equipment, and riding gear, for the mounted rangers working tirelessly to keep rhinos safe. After gearing the team up, Roxane tackled advancing their riding skillsets, and helped to polish the training of the horses.

Stay tuned for more details and updates from our Mounted Anti-Poaching Units Projects!

  • An impressive share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a co-worker who was doing a little research on this. And he actually bought me breakfast due to the fact that I discovered it for him… lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending the time to discuss this subject here on your blog.
