Join expert K9 trainers and anti-poaching rangers for this intensive course, designed for handlers, trainers, and rangers working with active K9 units. Participants will engage in real-world scenarios, enhancing operational effectiveness in anti-poaching, counter-trafficking, and wildlife protection roles. Like all GCF programs, this course provides exposure to diverse habitats and local tourist experiences within GCF’s conservation zones.
The GCF Introduction to Anti-Poaching Training Course is designed to forge highly skilled, disciplined, and mission-ready wildlife protection professionals. Over an intensive 21-day program, trainees will undergo a physically and mentally demanding experience, structured to meet the real-world challenges faced by anti-poaching rangers. This course is not for the faint of heart—participants should prepare as they would for a military or law enforcement boot camp, with the expectation of rigorous training in both practical and tactical conservation techniques.

This closing celebration will recognize the incredible volunteers, participants, and sponsors who made San Diego Climate Week possible. It is also one more chance to take meaningful climate action: every guest will be invited to sign up for the Key Conservation platform, create a profile, and begin supporting frontline wildlife conservationists around the world. By connecting locally, we can extend our impact globally.

On Saturday, January 17, Scent Imprint Conservation Dogs, Global Conservation Force, and Farm Food B.V. will jointly host an inspiring live lecture focused on the vital role of conservation and anti-poaching dogs in international wildlife protection efforts.
Wesley and Mike will take attendees inside their work as instructors and project leaders operating in conservation and anti-poaching programs around the world. They will share firsthand field experience, provide insight into their missions, projects, and objectives, and demonstrate how dogs are operationally deployed in the fight against poaching and wildlife crime. The lecture will be supported by authentic field footage from active project sites.
